Giada, I have had the opportunity to see you in the various scenes on anavids.com and I'd say that you are a reference point for those who follow the type of hard proposed by the productions linked to this name. First of all I'd like to know how you decided to approach this sector, what was the spring that encouraged you to devote yourself to this activity...?
I started working in the hard world about a year ago, after the end of the first lockdown. At first, it was just a great excuse to wrong my ex-boyfriend who had cheated on me a few months earlier. After the first scene though, I noticed that it wasn't just about revenge, it was stupid and childish...I was doing pretty well at what I was doing in the scenes and the thing that amazed me the most was that I loved it! I loved all the (seemingly strange) things they proposed for my scenes...and from there I started to build my career, where in one year I did more than 100 scenes, most of them for Legal Porno.
Based on your experience, what do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of your profession and the most tiring one, which took you the longest to get used to?
There are so many rewarding aspects to my profession, starting from the scenes I manage to sell, to the many productions that want to work with me, the contracts and so on...of course it's all very tiring, just think of all the preparation I have to do my anal scenes or work (sometimes) with actors and actresses that I don't particularly like. Maybe the thing that I'm starting to get familiar with only now, are the foot fetish scenes...I, as everyone knows, hate feet but I love to submit so I started to process it so I can work on this kind of scenes as quickly and serenely as possible.
I'd like to make a comparison with you between the physical energies that, by necessity, a performer devotes to hardcore scenes, and the emotional commitment that this requires. At the end of the game, doing porn at a certain level is a physical thing but also a cerebral one?
Absolutely yes, the physical stress can be seen by everyone watching the scene, maintaining the position (albeit uncomfortable) between oils and gels that are everywhere ... the mental stress is inevitable, so many times I estranged from any social and take some time for me and my personal life. In the end, those are two types of stress that you have to take into account to maintain the same level in each scene.
Has pursuing a career like yours to the fullest resulted in changes and precise directions for your personal life as well, or do you keep the two separate?
Of course, my private life remains far removed from my work life. Sometimes, unfortunately, I don't have much time to dedicate totally to my private life, as I am on stage very often. In the beginning it was much easier, I had fewer scenes and I wasn't very well known except as a model in SuicideGirls. Now I'm also in the scenes of other actresses like Fister and Squirter, that means more work and of course less private life.
The kind of sexuality you express on the set consists in a set of practices commonly considered 'extreme' or anyway pertaining to very precise fetish spheres. I ask you: how many of these things are the result of 'scene' work and how many are part of your background, apart from porn?
I've never considered myself (in my private life) an extreme partner, I've always done BDSM or Bondage but nothing more. After my career started I am more and more glad that I never tried extreme things in my private sexual sphere as some of them can be dangerous especially if done by partners who consider themselves self-taught.
Have you encountered any misconceptions about your profession from 'outside observers' such as fans and journalists? What are the commonplaces that are incorrect or otherwise annoying?
Obviously...especially there are two "misunderstandings" that I hate more than anything else...the first one is that every porn actress is necessarily considered a prostitute...Well it's not really like that, they are two completely different professions, none excludes the other but let's not make of all the grass a lace. The second is that if a girl is a porn actress or has embarked on this career she does so only for money. Even this is something that is not true for everyone, I am the first who does not do it for the money: I studied, I have several degrees, I could earn even with a normal profession. I simply followed a career that I like and that makes me feel good about myself.
The previous question brings us to talk about social and Internet. How do you live the digital world? Are you a frequent visitor, do you consider it a promotional vehicle or something else?
In the beginning I was very present on social networks, responding to every single message...Now, the kind of fans and followers that follow me demand free content and/or exclusivity and this is not something I love also because most of them have no respect for me nor for the kind of work I do. Since a few months ago, I preferred to answer only on my OF (not every day) and on my PH profile.
Lots of views and attention to your videos. What do you think is your greatest gift on the set, the one you want to express in each of your scenes and that you think will appeal most to those who watch you?
Honestly I don't know, let's say that my "popularity" comes from the fact that many of my scenes are shared with other actresses because I can involve them, and of course all the scenes where I stop and squirt.
Two words about your character, your way of being. Pros and cons: how would you define yourself in everyday life?
I'm a workaholic, and that can be both a plus and a minus. As well as the fact that I'm very precise and fussy, especially during my scenes, I'm very keen that they come out perfect.
Finally, leaving the world of work, what passions or hobbies do you cultivate in your free time?
As I said I don't have much free time, when I do I prefer to spend it at the spa, or reading a good book.
